Part-Time Preschool Ministry Assistant
Severns Valley Baptist Church – Elizabethtown, KY
15–20 Hours/Week

Do you have a heart for preschoolers and a desire to help build a gospel-centered foundation during their most formative years? SVkids is looking for a Preschool Ministry Assistant to provide hands-on leadership and care within our preschool environments.
This role is ideal for someone who is relational, dependable, and passionate about teaching little ones about Jesus in a developmentally appropriate and engaging way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Help lead and support preschool programming on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights
Teach or co-teach in the preschool ministry and help train volunteer teachers as needed
Build relationships with preschool families and provide encouragement and care
Collaborate with the SVkids team to ensure preschool spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming
Assist with setting up curriculum materials, prepping classrooms, and decorating seasonally
Support preschool events by helping with set-up, greeting families, and engaging with children

What We’re Looking For:

A committed follower of Jesus Christ who agrees with the Baptist Faith & Message (2000)
A warm, friendly presence who loves children and can relate well to parents and volunteers
Basic knowledge of preschool development and an ability to teach in an age-appropriate way
A team player who is dependable, flexible, and excited to serve alongside others

Availability to serve on-site Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
